End 16th century ,the family Van Eynatten built a large house where they uses the the stones of the tower which already stood there of previous builders. The history of the castle Abée still returns up to the 14e centuries. The castle would remain until the end of the 18th century in the hands of the family. Afterwards by marriages in the female branch other owners had come. The castle was further extended around 13e centuries donjon. The largest part of the castle is however from the 16th century. In the 18th century a short narrow wing became built , the drawbridge was meanwhile already disappeared.
Abée is a part-municipality of the municipality Tinlot in the Belgian province Luik.
