In 1850, the in this region well-known mill builder Van Himbergen developed this mill for the family Bax-Pelkmans . After approx. 25 years they already sold the mill to the family Verheyen-Dries that grinded up to 1936 with wind strength and afterwards with the diesel engine which is still present today.
