Deze houten standaardmolen uit 1781, werd in 1923 uit Poperinge naar Houthulst overgebracht, ter vervanging van een molen die hier tijdens W.O.I vernield was. Hij werd tot 1958 in bedrijf gehouden door één familie. In 1975 kocht de gemeente de molen en liet hem in 1983-1984 maalvaardig restaureren. Te bezoeken na afspraak.

This wooden standard-mill from 1781,were transmitted in 1923 from Poperinge to Houthulst, in substitution for a mill which was destroyed here during W.W.I. He was kept up operational to 1958 by one family. In 1975, the municipality bought the mill and let him grind-capable restore in 1983-1984. To visit after appointment.
