During the Old hand Regime Saint-Pietersvoeren felled outside the Brabant administration, where the other Voer-villages in belonged. Already from in the 13° century, this village was property of the German Decoration order of knighthood. In 1234 a certain Daniel van Voeren donated, by his entrance in this order, also his properties. His castle was a 'commanderij' (or 'commanderie'), like the order called her establishments. To on the French revolution this village fell, via the local 'commander', among the authority of the German empire state.It is accepted that there a commanderij existed in the 14° century. It would remain property of the German Order until December 1798. Then it passed in private individual hands by matter of the French revolution.The port building dates of 1910. The in 1885 installed ponds are used now to breed trouts in it fit, clean sourcewater of the Voer.
