The water mill of Reppel is located to Aa-creek and was for the first time mentioned in a certificate from 856. With that it would be the oldest water mill of Belgium . In former days stood here three water mills: a grain-mill, an oil mill and bark mill, where especially oak bark was ground for the leather tanneries. The oil mill was demolished in 1914, the bark mill in 1923. The grain-mill has only been kept remained. Up to in 1975 was there still ground for the customers of remuneration flour-milling.
