The mill Rommel in Leffinge (municipality of Middelkerke) lies in the Groenhagestraat and contains among others the body of a bricks mill from 1871 and a mechanical flour-milling in separate small building. The mill was stopped by the second world war. In 1940 cap and flight were removed once and for all. Inside are still some components of the grind mechanism. The flour-milling was in operation from 1929 up to 1986. The equipment has been kept entirely and has been contained among others a horizontal one-cylinder diesel engine of the mark Deutz.
