Het omwalde kasteel dateert uit de 15de en 16de eeuw. De beruchte Raes van Heers was diegene, die opdracht gaf tot heropbouw van het kasteel (zoals het er nu uitzien). Sinds 1757 is het kasteel in het bezit van de familie Desmaisières. Het kasteel van Heers bevindt zich in een jammerlijke toestand na jarenlange verwaarlozing door de huidige adellijke eigenaars (2007) |
