The high mill became in 1841, built in Noorderwijk but was not most likely new. Some carvings refer to older dates and the construction is possible originating from Antwerpen-Dam. In 1983 the wings and the planking of the storm side were replaced. The last large breakdown service dates back to 1990, after the mill was flown open in the winter storm and just after considerable damage could be brought to standstill . These closed standard wind mill remained up to 1960 in operation. At the restoration in 1967, he was repaired entirely in its glory. By the protection of the surroundings of the mill, a free wind-catch for the future has been guaranteed. Each last Sunday of the months of May up to and including September you can visit this mill between 14.00 and 18h.
