In 1693 kwam het monumentale landhuis (gentilhommière) in het bezit van de patriciërsfamilie Bosch. Mathias Bosch was de bouwheer van de huidige gebouwen uit 1743. Het jaartal staat in de wapensteen boven de inrijpoort. Andere bewoners waren onder anderen de familie de Heusch de Bombrouck, baron de Favereau en baron de Calwaert. In 1992 werden het kasteel en de hoeve gesplitst. De hoeve kwam in het bezit van de familie Ph. Dullaers; het kasteel werd in 1994 gekocht door de kunstenaars Gerbrand Volger en Willeke van Tijn, die diverse restauraties uitvoerden. Er is niettemin nog veel achterstallig onderhoud.Heden (2007) staat het kasteel te koop.

In 1992, the castle and the farm were split up. The farm came in the possession of the family Ph. Dullaers; the castle was bought in 1994, by the artists Gerbrand Volger and Willeke van Tijn, whom several restorations carried out. There is nevertheless still much overdue maintenance.Today (2007),the castle is for sale.
