The castle of Acoz lies safe in the valley of the Biesme, among a park with gardens, ponds, fields, forests and hillocks. It exists from a Southern and Eastern wing and from a northwest tower. In the past the castle formed a large quadrangular reinforced fortress. In the 12° centuries Acoz is described as a posession of the abbey of Floreffe. As a fief gets Acoz in 1350 a charter. The lord of Wangenée gives it as a fief to Aimard de Fery.From 1543 and for two centuries the estate becomes property of the family Marotte. This family is raised in the nobility in 1629 .
