Aan de Nederrij prijkt het domein Le Paige. Het 19de-eeuwse kasteel en het arboretum behoorden toe aan de vooraanstaande familie Le Paige. Door een samenwerking tussen de vzw Ter Vesten, de kerkfabriek en het stadsbestuur werd het kasteel gerestaureerd en heeft het sinds 2000 een sociaal-culturele functie. To the Nederrij the field Le Paige shines.The 19° centuries the castle and the arboretum belonged to the prominent family Le Paige. By a cooperation between the npo Ter Vesten, the church factory and the town governing board, the castle had been restored and has had it since 2000 a socio-cultural function. The arboretum accommodates approx. 70 rare tree sorts. |
