Initially a farm with water mill, built by the Saint-Michiels abbey of Antwerp. Now it is a complex of four wings around a courtyard where the Molenbeek flows under. Because of the restoration of 1912, by the family Witman, the bldg. the more got the view of a castle. With recuperated materials, also old dates which are not related to this bldg., were bricked in. The youngest restoration in neo-traditional style dates of 1968-69 by the family Mertens de Wilmars.
