Senior given concerning the castle is the stone tablet in blue stone which was placed in the cellar on 30 augusts 1802. Owner was then Corneille Jean Joseph Scheppers, born at Mechelen on 9 April 1798. The field became on 18 June 1877 property of the lord and Ms Van Diepenbeek, brewer at Mechelen. They had 2 sons as heirs, Louis and Leon. Leon gave his part of the heritage Tivoli to his brother, who therefore became the only owner. He died in 1937. In 1990, artist Jan Fabre let the complete castle blue bic-ken: more than 3000 m2 scratched with the ink of 150,000 blue ballpoints were made on the gable of the castle.
