Het kasteel van Bourgondië in Estaimbourg, het centrale punt van de activiteiten in de gemeente, werd gebouwd in 1854 op bevel van Karel van Bourgondië, die er burgemeester was van 1835 tot 1886. Het kasteel ligt in een bloemenpark. Het is omgeven door water, woonvertrekken in baksteen en door de Middeleeuwen geïnspireerde steen. In de nabijheid vindt men landerijen in een neoklassieke stijl. De heerlijkheid van Estaimbourg wordt reeds in de 12de eeuw vermeld. Door de eeuwen heen gaat het kasteel over in handen van menig geslacht. Het is de familie de Bourgogne die het huidige kasteel laat bouwen. Toch is dit kasteel niet het eerste bouwsel op deze plek. Uit archieven leren we dat het kasteel van Estaimbourg tweemaal werd vernield. Een eerste keer in 1340, tijdens de Honderdjarige Oorlog, door de Britse troepen en de tweede keer in 1478, door de Franse troepen van Lodewijk XI. Bezoek: enkel het park. Adres: Place de Bourgogne 1

The castle of Bourgondie in Estaimbourg, the centre of the activities in the municipality, was built in 1854 on order of Karel of Bourgondie, who was the mayor from 1835 to 1886. The castle lies in a flower park. It is surrounded by water, living rooms in brick and by the Middle Ages inspired stone. In the closeness you find farm lands in a neoclassic style. The estate of Estaimbourg is stated already in the 12de century. By the centuries there the castle passes in hands of many familys. It is the family the Burgundy that build the present castle. Nevertheless this castle is not the first building on this place. From archives we learn that the castle of Estaimbourg was vandalized twice. A first time in 1340, during the Hundred year War, by the British troops and the second time in 1478, by the French troops of Lodewijk XI. Visit: Only the park.
