Midden in het dorp, aan het Kerkplein, ligt het "Kasteel van De Pinte" ,ook bekend als “Kasteel Viteux”.Vroeger stond hier een hoeve, in 1857 omgebouwd tot buitenverblijf, een hof van plaisance. In 1881 werd het mooie park aangelegd, het kasteeltje zelf kreeg zijn definitieve vorm in 1932.Het kasteel en de bijgebouwen worden heden gerestaureerd.De werken zouden in de loop van 2008 ten einde zijn. In the middle of the village, to the square, lies the castle of the Pinte,also known as “castle Viteux” . In former days stood here a farmhouse, in 1857, converted to outside stay, a court of plaisance. In 1881, the beautiful park was laid out, the small castle got its definite form in 1932.The castle and the outbuildings are restored at present. The works should be finished in the course of 2008. |
