Het eerste kasteel dateert uit de Middeleeuwen en werd verwoest door de Bourgondiėrs in 1453 door Antoine de CROY. Het kasteel wordt heropgebouwd in de 17de eeuw door de familie Busleyden in de buurt van de huidige Sint-Willibrorduskerk. Het wordt vervolgens eigendom van de families Cobreville en Marches die een nieuw kasteel bouwen tussen 1749 en 1763 aan de rand van het dorp. Het bestaat uit verschillende gebouwen en is omringd door een park en een Franse tuin. Guirsch was het centrum van een heerlijkheid, zetel van het markizaat van Aarlen. B-6700 Arlon |

The first castle dates from the middle ages and was devastated by the Bourgondiėrs in 1453 by Antoine the CROY. The castle becomes rebuilt in the 17° centuries by the family Busleyden in the surroundings of the current Willibrordus church. It becomes then property of the families Cobreville and Marches which builds a new castle between 1749 and 1763 to the edge of the village. It exists from several bldg. and has been surrounded by a park and a French garden. Guirsch were the center of a lusciousness, seat of the marquisette of Arlon. |
