Het oorspronkelijke kasteel, dat gebouwd werd door notaris De Blieck in neo-classicistische stijl,dateert van 1873.In 1913 liet de invloedrijke brouwersfamilie Du Bois het statige bordes en kasteeltoren met bijhorende belvédère toevoegen.De parketvloeren ,de faiencebetegeling, de mozaiekvloeren, de stucplafonds en het binnenschrijnwerk getuigen van een zeer verfijde esthetiek en uitzonderlijk vamanschap.In 2001 koos Jan Cami deze prachtige locatie uit om er zijn verfijnde gastronomie te etaleren.Op 15/05/200 opende het kasteel zijn deuren na een intense periode van restauratiewerken. |

The original castle, which was built by notary De Blieck in neo-classicistic style, dates back to 1873.In 1913 the influential brewer family Du Bois added the stately steps and castle tower with appurtenant gazebo. The parquet floor, the faience tiles, the mosaic floors, the stucco ceilings and the indoor woodwork testify of very refined aesthetics and exceptional craftsmanship . In 2001, Jan Cami chose this splendid location to display its refined gastronomy there. On 15/05/200 opened the castle its doors after an intense period of restoration work. |
