Het domein Weyninckhoven (Geelhandlaan 1) ligt in het zuiden van de gemeente. Het goed bood eeuwenlang onderdak aan adellijke families.

Een oorkonde van Hove getuigt dat het kasteel al bestond in de 13de eeuw.Een eerste vermelding van dit goed gaat terug tot 1265. Ridder Goswin Bok verkoopt het in 1270 aan de Duitse orde van Pitzenburg, een geestelijke instelling die oorspronkelijk de ridders verzorgde die naar het Heilig Land trokken bij de kruistochten. In 1473 is het goed in het bezit van Pieter Pot, een rijke koopman en beroemd stichter van de Pieter Potabdij te Antwerpen. Na zijn verwoesting in 1583-1584 werd het omstreeks 1598 herbouwd, maar dan uit steen.

Op het einde van de 18de eeuw vertoont Weyninckhoven ongeveer zijn huidige aanblik: het kasteel, de hovenierswoning, de stallen en het park, alles ingesloten door de hofgracht. In 1793 komt het domein in bezit van Helena Geelhand. De familie Geelhand behoudt de eigendom tot in 1951, toen een deel ervan werd aangekocht door de gemeente, die het kasteel tot gemeentehuis inrichtte.

The field Weyninckhoven lies in the south of the municipality. The place offered age-long lodging to noble families .

A muniment of Hove testifies that the castle existed already in the 13° centuries. A first indication of this place returns up to 1265. Knight Goswin Bok sells it in 1270 to the German order of Pitzenburg, a mental institution which initially looked after the knights who went to the Holy Country at the crusades. In 1473 is it in the possession of Pieter pot, a rich merchant and famous founder of the Pieter Pot abbey in Antwerp. After its devastation in 1583-1584 it was rebuilt around 1598, but then in stone.

At the end of the 18° centuries Weyninckhoven show approximately its current sight: the castle, the gardener house, stable and the park, everything surrounded by the court ditch. In 1793, the field comes in possession of Helena Geelhand. The family Geelhand preserves the property up to 1951, then a part of it was bought by the municipality, which arranged the castle to municipality house.
