De eerste vermelding van deze molen is van 1548. Vergroting en verandering in houtzaagmolen: 1916. Na restauratie (1990-1995) de enige houtzaagmolen in Vlaanderen die op waterkracht werkt. In het bijbehorende bakhuis kan men een diamontage over de 16 watermolens op de Bosbeek bekijken.

This oil mill, dating back to 1548 still has a great deal to offer today. The building, which was extended in 1916 to form the only water-driven sawmill in Flanders, has been restored to its original condition. In the former bakery of the ‘Klaaskensmill’, an audio-visual presentation provides a deeper insight into the history of the mills on the Bosbrook.
