Naast het malen van graan, werd de molen in 1916 ook ingericht om hout te zagen. De horizontale portaalzaag bestaat nog, maar is nu opgeslagen in een magazijn in Vorst (net zoals de dieselmotor). Zaagmolens zijn vrijwel verdwenen in Vlaanderen: het laatste compleet ingerichte exemplaar staat in Neeroeteren (Limburg). Sinds 2000 is het molenhuis onbewoond. Thans (2007) staat het geheel te koop

Beside grinding grain, the mill was also arranged to saw wood in 1916. The horizontal portal saw still exists , but has now been stored in a stockroom in Vorst (just like the diesel engine). Saw mills have nearly disappeared in Flanders: the last completely arranged copy stands in Neeroeteren (Limburg). Since 2000 the mill house has been uninhabited. Now (2007) the whole is for sale.
