Van in de 19e eeuw tot voorbij de tweede wereldoorlog waren er twee houten watermolens op deze plaats. Eén rad bevond zich links naast het huis, dat toen een boerderij was. Hier werden voeder- gewassen gemalen. Het andere houten rad stond aan het gebouw tegenover het huis. Dit maalde tarwe en rogge voor de mensen. Hetzelfde water, afgeleid via het kanaal, dreef een na een de beide raderen aan. Als het rad moest stoppen, ging men in het bos het water terugleiden naar de "Belle Meuse".

Of in the 19th century until beyond the second world war there were two wooden water mills at this place. One water-wheel were themselves left beside the house, which was then a farm. Here feeding plants were ground. The other wooden water-wheel stood to the bldg. compared with the house. This ground wheat and rye for people. The same water, inferred by means of the canal, operated after the two water-wheels. If the water-wheel had to stop, one went in the forest to water lead it back to the Belle Meuse.
