Oorspronkelijk werd de windmolen in 1801 gebouwd als een 8-kantige koffiepotmolen. In 1875 werd er een stenen romp omheen gebouwd. In 1943 werd hij beschermd en hij was nog tot 1957 in gebruik. Nu is hij in privé handen en dus ook niet vrij te bezichtigen.
