This wind mill is located in the municipal walking park in Heesakkerheide. The mill was moved in 1853, from Helchteren to Overpelt. In 1962 the mill was moved by the municipality. It is a standard or stake-mill: the complete mill body twists around a giant wooden pin which is attached on the mortared dice. This way the wings can be placed to the wind. The mill functions still. Guide accompaniment (Dutch, F, E) possible for groups.
