At this place weavers from Hasselt built a ‘volmolen’(to improve the quality of the tissue) approx. 1523. Those around 1645 were rebuilt to oil - and ‘bookmill’ and in 1834, transformed to grainmill. After the restoration of the current work the mill has been since 1987 capable to grind. The mill house is all week days (except wed and thu) accessible as from 12h30. Sundays and public holidays as from 14h.
