Deze watermolen is gelegen op de Bosbeek te Louwel. Hij wordt voor de eerste maal vermeld in 1511 om zaadolie te pletten. Tijdens de Hollandse oorlog (1672-1679) raakte hij in verval. In 1685 werd hij hersteld door de toenmalige eigenaars.Sinds 1995 is het gebouw met de onmiddellijke omgeving geklasseerd en doet de molen dienst als restaurant.

This water mill has been lain on the Bosbeek at Louwel. He is mentioned for the first time in 1511 to flatten seed oil. During the Dutch war (1672-1679) he became in decline. In 1685 he had been repaired by the then owners. Since 1995 the bldg. with the immediate surroundings has been classified and the mill is now a restaurant.
