Een grote ster of windroos siert de flank van deze oude houten staak- of standaardmolen, opgericht in 1901 door Eugène Bleukx-Driesen, molenaar te Wijchmaal, die de molen aankocht in het Henegouwse.
De laatste molenaar Mathieu Helsen werkte met de molen van 1948 tot 1970. Sinds 1977 is de molen eigendom van de gemeente. Als beschermd monument werd de molen in 1984 gerestaureerd en wordt hij nog regelmatig in werking gezet. Ook het naastliggend Molenhuisje werd volledig gerestaureerd.

A large star or wind rose decorates the flank of these old wooden stake- or standard-mill, set up in 1901 by Eugène Bleukx-Driesen, miller, at Wijchmaal, which bought the mill in Henegouwen.
Last miller Mathieu Helsen worked with the mill from 1948 up to 1970. Since 1977 the mill has been property of the municipality. As protected monument the mill, was restored in 1984 and he is still regularly put in functioning. Also the near mill house was entirely restored.
