De laatste beroepsmolenaar was Martin Gielen, eigenaar sinds 1938.In 1980 was de molen regelmatig in bedrijf. In datzelfde jaar brak door ijzermoeheid een roede die onmiddellijk werd hersteld door... Martin Gielen. Hij hield de molen in werking tot even voor zijn overlijden in januari 1991.

Drankenhandelaar Albert Schreurs kocht de molen in december 1995 met de bedoeling hem te restaureren, maar stelt de molen momenteel (2006) weer te koop. Een kandidaat-koper wil de site in Boorsem uitbaten als horecazaak. Gelukkig heeft hij ook een maalvaardige restauratie op het oog.

The last profession miller was Martin Gielen, owner since 1938.In 1980 the mill had been regular in operation. In the same year iron-tired-driven a rod broke through which it was immediately repaired by… Martin Gielen. He kept the mill in functioning up to just before its death in January 1991.
Spirits trader Albert Schreurs bought the mill with the intention restoring him, but puts the mill in December 1995 at present (2006) for sale. A candidate purchaser wants to run the site in Boorsem as a hotel and catering industry business. Fortunately he has also a grind-capable restoration in mind.
