In 1382 the mill was property of the lords of Tommen. In 1573 the abbey of Grimbergen became the owner . A restoration was carried out in 1971, whereupon the bldg. was incorporated in the museum for older techniques (MOT). The wooden mill installation has been kept remained. A rebuilt clay barn is part of the historical site. Here too a part of the museum for older techniques has been put up. Another barn was made into a rural inn. In the mill himself, there is the exhibition "Better cooking?" and "Functioning of a water mill", whereas in the clay barn "The rice growing in the former Japan" can be visited.Entirely accessibly from April till September during weekends and holidays (14h-18h).
