The current mill house dates from 1775 and with the 20th century dwelling house under one saddle roof has been united. Although since 1973 out of order, the mill has already been still capable to grind and is part of the Flemish industrial heritage. The Wellenmolen it is seen technically a grain water mill of the undershot type with a mill wheel of 5 meters profile. At one rotation (approx. 6 seconds at normal flow) of the mill wheel the millstone turns twelve times around . The Wellenmolen have equipped with two pairs of millstones.
