The white mill,a mount mill, has initially equipped as a grain - and oil mill with an oil cellar in the rampart. The standing ash or king spindle twists on a beam on the ground floor and was provide with a disk course to operate the stone - and welter wheel. There are two mill corridors, oats crusher and bolt. Above every mill chair a small gantry with a ash which is equiped with four levers for taking off the claw iron. After the mill was for a long time in the possession of the family Dierickx Visschers,the mill was bought by trader-farmer Edouard Gailliaert. In 1994, the city of Oudenburg took the mill in ownership of land for 27 years, with the intention the to repair the mill grind capably . In 2002-2003 the restoration was concluded. Now "the white mill" flaunts again in the Oudenburg landscape.
