De Volmolen werd in 1751 opgericht als volmolen. Volgens een beschrijving uit 1807 bezat hij vier volhamers. Kort na 1849 werd de volmolen stilgelegd, aangezien hij technisch achterhaald was geworden. In 1875 werd op dezelfde plaats een bakstenen graanwatermolen opgericht. De watermolen werd in 1993 beschermd als monument en samen met zijn omgeving als dorpsgezicht.

The Volmolen was set up in 1751, as vol mill (Vollen is a final processing of wools woven substance as a result of which the quality strongly improved). According to a description from 1807 had the mill four vol hammers. Shortly after 1849 the mill was stopped, since he technically had become outdated. In 1875 at the same place a bricks grain water mill was set up. The water mill was protected in 1993, as a monument and with its surroundings as a rural sight.
